Focus on Saudi Investment New Opportunities, Land Group Participated in China-Saudi Industrial Value Chains Workshop in Shanghai

On August 24, Saudi local time, H.E. Khalid AI-Falih, minister of Investment of Saudi Arabia, led his senior delegation to start official visit in China, with Shanghai as the first stop. The visit was conducted under the framework of Saudi-China Senior Committee jointly hosted by the ministers of Investment of Saudi Arabia and Commerce of P.R. China, and will last until August 29.

On August 25, International Business Division of Land Group travelled to Shanghai and participated in “China-Saudi Industrial Value Chains Workshop” sponsored by MISA. During the workshop, Land conducted in-depth exchange with Saudi agency representatives such as MISA, Public Investment Fund (PIF), Saudi Authority for Industrial Cities and Technology Zones (MODON), and Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu (RCJY). Moreover, Land also participated in the exchange activity with the theme of “Invest in Saudi Arabia with Modern Smart Agriculture”, and had discussions with representatives from Saudi Ministry of Agriculture centering on opportunities and paths of investment in Saudi agriculture.
During the workshop, distinguished guests such as Mr. Khalid Falih, minister of MISA, Mr. Tamer Arshetri, representative of Saudi Export-Import Bank (EXIM) and Government Relationships, Mr. Ismail Alami, advisor to RCJY and representative of Jazan City for Primary and Downstream Industries (JCPDI), Mr. Saleh Khabti, president of ACWA Power China, and Mr. Chen Kunrong, deputy general representative of Sinopec Middle East Office, delivered speeches. The spokesmen, including senior government officials of Saudi ministries such as Ministries of Investment, and Energy, and also China-Saudi well-known enterprise representatives, jointly injected rich insights into the workshop and deepened the practical understanding of investors on the Saudi market.
