Ji Jing, Deputy Mayor of Suzhou, Conducted Thematic Survey in Sino-Saudi Center

On February 27th, Ji Jing, deputy mayor of Suzhou, and her team, visited Land MOBO Center(Sino-Saudi Center) and conducted thematic survey, they observed project construction progress, and conducted survey and exchange regarding in-depth Sino-Saudi economic and trade cooperations, cultural tourism integration and co-building of “the Belt and Road” high-quality development. Wang Jianguo, member of the Standing Committee of Changshu Municipal Party Committee, and secretary of the Party Working Committee of Changshu High-tech Zone, Tan Xiaohua, deputy mayor of Changshu municipal government, and Ye Feng, chairman of Suzhou Land Group, accompanied the observation. 

 

 

Ji Jing had a detailed understanding of projects and construction progress, she proposed to rely on Suzhou’s advantage in the open economy and manufacturing industry, use digitalization and greenization to enable industrial chain upgrade, add new energy to bilateral economic and trade cooperations, cooperate centering on collaborative development in culture, tourism, economy and trade, industrial chain cross-border docking, and building of Saudi Center cultural exchange bridge, use Saudi Center as the original point to cover Gulf Cooperation Council countries, build open and cooperation gateway in the Yangtze River Delta and Middle East, accelerate the building of Sino-Saudi dual centers platform, provide whole chain service to enterprises that will go out and be invited in, and help Changshu build Sino-Saudi cooperation hub.

 

 

In the future, Sino-Saudi Center will take the Belt and Road as an opportunity, focus on fields including investment, trade and humanity exchange, promote the formation of international cooperation network based in the Yangtze River Delta to cover the Middle East. Following the settlement of Sino-Saudi (Changshu) International Economic Cooperation Zone (tentative name), Sino-Saudi Center will promote the sustainable development of the Middle East and China in aspects such as bilateral investments, trade, and cultural exchange.
