Selected as A Provincial Key Project! Congratulations!

In the latest “2025 Jiangsu Service Industry Key Project List” issued by Jiangsu Development & Reform Commission, the Saudi Center + Sino-Saudi Cooperation Industrial Park project (the construction project of Sino-Saudi Changshu open and cooperation platform), jointly built by Land Group and Changshu government, is successfully selected and upgraded from Suzhou municipal level to Jiangsu provincial level key project, making the project a benchmarking carrier for promoting Sino-Saudi economic and trade cooperations and “the Belt and Road” high-quality development. 

Driven by the “trade + industry” dual wheels, the construction project of Sino-Saudi (Changshu) open and cooperation platform, is composed of Saudi Center and Sino-Saudi Cooperation Industrial Park, focuses on Sino-Saudi key cooperative industrial fields such as new energy, automobile and core spare parts, and new generation information technology, has planned a total land area of around 76,800 m² and newly built gross floor area of 135,000 m², builds an internationalized open platform integrating Sino-Saudi cross-border trade, investment promotion, and joint innovation, provides “two-way channels” to Sino-Saudi bilateral economic and trade cooperations, and realizes the collaborative effect of “trade promotes production and production makes cities prosperous”.

Sino-Saudi cooperation “pilot zone” is about to be launched

Located at Dongnan Avenue (East of Yongwang) of Changshu High-tech Zone, Saudi Center is one of the core engines for the platform construction. The roof-sealing of project main entity was completed at the end of 2024. Currently, the project is under the progress of curtain wall construction and internal decoration, is planned to be completed at the end of December 2025, and fine decoration will be completed in the third-quarter of 2025. Saudi Center covers the functions such as high-end business office, financial service and international business and trade. The ground floor business and office of the center already started global investment promotion, attracted the clustering of Sino-Saudi enterprises and state-owned enterprises, and became “frontline window” for economic and trade interactions of the two countries. 

Sino-Saudi Cooperation Industrial Park:

Plan for the new benchmark of “the Belt and Road” industries

Sino-Saudi Cooperation Industrial Park project is next to Zhongxin Kuncheng Lake Park, is at the intersection of Huangpujiang Road and Changkun Road, and is 1.5 kilometers away from Saudi Center. The cooperation park is invested and constructed by Land Group, and is fully under construction at present. The project is planned to build one comprehensive service building and 37 high-quality single R & D/trade headquarters, and has currently the unique industrial land for trade display, headquarter office, and technology R & D. In the future, the project will focus on bringing in industries such as cross-border trade and digital technology, build industry-city integrated internationalized innovation park. 

As the in-depth Practitioner of “the Belt and Road Initiative”, Land Group relies on its global resource integration capability, use the Sino-Saudi Cooperation Industrial Park as a supporting point, and promote the in-depth integration of Sino-Saudi industrial chains and the building of Saudi community and cultural center. The cooperation park not only acts as international trade window and functions as enterprise incubator, but moreover will interact with Saudi Center to form dual-core driven pattern, and provide strong engine to the integration of Changshu and even the Yangtze River Delta into “the Belt and Road” construction. 

At present, National Development & Reform Commission is actively promoting the top-level design of “Sino-Saudi open and innovation pilot zone”, Changshu already entrusted the International Cooperation Center of the Commission to compile “Sino-Saudi (Changshu) open and cooperation demonstration zone plan”, and will strive for including this project in the national policy framework. This measure marks the changing of Sino-Saudi (Changshu) open and cooperation platform from regional practice to national-level strategy. In the future, demonstration effect will be formed in fields such as policy innovation, cross-border service and industrial collaboration to make contribution to all-round in-depth Sino-Saudi strategic cooperation.
